3 Ways to Get Your Mind Focused on SUCCESS in the Morning!

Getting your mind and body tuned into what it will be facing throughout the day is extremely important and can make or break what you are able to accomplish. If you feel sluggish and unfocused to start your day, this feeling tends to snowball and roll into the next task and the task after that and after that... Eventually it is the end of the day and you have slept walked through all of your decisions and guess what? That doesn't spell success for you, it spell failure and I know this from personal experience as I was never a morning person myself and until I made changes my success was stagnant.


So, what can you do to help push yourself in the right direction from the moment you wake up? The three top ways I have found are below!

1. Wake Up Early - Yeah, I know that seems to defeat the purpose of feeling "tired" but if you wake up an hour or two earlier than usual you allow your body to adjust to the day and you give yourself time to prepare and focus before the important tasks and decision making begins. It also gives you time to complete the other top two focus strategies, so it is very important.





2. Get yourself a notebook and write down your top 3 Goals for the day - This will give your mind the focus on those three main priorities and subconsciously you will already be seeking ways throughout your day to meet those goals. You may realize without even thinking about it that someone you know might be able to help you, you might have a creative idea subconsciously or read something along your morning commute that triggers that morning goal to take on a new direction or propel it forward. Writing down your goals in the morning tells your mind what to look for and spend time on that day.




3. Spend some quiet alone time - This does not have to be a long activity but you should try to spend time to let your creative mind WAKE UP! When you do an activity like showering, meditating, yoga, or even just quietly sipping your iced coffee while you relax (without a screen or electronic distraction) this will really help to get your creative juices flowing as your mind begins to wander and come up will all kinds of ideas you never knew were possible.





These focus strategies though simple, can really change your life. Your success is dependant on every day doing the best you can to keep yourself moving forward, and to keep yourself making consistent progress and steps.
