4 Easy Habits to Boost Your Energy & Increase Productivity

1. Drink More Water! Hydrating your body and your mind is step one to increasing your energy and productivity. When your mind has the hydration it needs it will work much more efficiently, retain memories and come up with creative solutions more often! If you struggle with drinking enough water in the day I would encourage you to download the app "Plant Nanny - Water Tracker". Each time you drink water your little plant will also be watered and its a super cute way to keep yourself on track! Ps, getting yourself a cute water bottle that you carry everywhere really helps too.

2. Meal Prep A Healthy Breakfast! Having a healthy choice of breakfast ready and available to you in the morning can help you stay on track throughout the day. It gives your mind and body the strength and energy that it needs to face the days challenges with grace. Usually I will meal prep my breakfast for the week every Sunday to make sure that I don't get lazy and skip breakfast (Which is often my downfall). If you skip it you will likely burn out faster, work less efficiently and struggle to focus.

3. Choose an Activity first thing in the morning that stimulates your mind. After you've made your coffee of course - We are not complete savages. This will help to get your mind focused on the day ahead. A great activity you can do is writing down todays MVPs (Most Valuable Priorities). Choose and write down each morning while you are enjoying your coffee what three things you want to accomplish today above all else. If you have time also write down what steps you can take to accomplish these MVPs. Subconsciously your mind will work on identifying ways to complete these MVPs and even people that could help you achieve them!

4. Do Not Check Your Phone, Email or the News. I know this one seems strange but trust me on this - Do not check your screens until after you have had a chance to wake up and center your mind for the day. Do you have any idea how many endless hours we get sucked into watching a hundred reels, reading a million irrelevant posts and checking our endless email and for what? What value does that bring to us? What goal does it move us towards? Even if one of your goals is to grow your social media, getting sucked into an unproductive onslaught of endless and irrelevant information before you even leave your bed is not the way to do it. Leave your electronics off until you have completed your healthy morning habits and can make better decisions about where you spend your time today!

I sincerely hope this helps you to focus and recenter your mind in the morning - These healthy habits have certainly helped in my life and if you want to start seeing serious change i suggest you start molding your daily habits to support you and propel you forward rather than weighing you down.

Lots of Love,
