I'm engaged! Yes, it's true! Have I got your attention? Some of you may be saying to yourself, I thought she was already married. You are right, I am - I meant that I am engaged on IG!
I must confess that it breaks my heart everytime I see an amazing post and there is 0 engagement. I don't get it, it takes 2 seconds! Personally, I take at least 20 minutes a day to show a little love to others. There are a number of accounts that regularly engage on my page, leaving comments, liking my photos and it means so much to me. Why wouldn't you want the same feeling or to gift that feeling to someone else? If you were running a race and you had someone following you because they supported your journey, you would be dismayed to see them gingerly strolling a far distance behind you checking out the sights. You would want them to be engaged, cheering you on - you can do it, you got this, you're almost there, keep going, don't give up, we can make it! Don't leave your fellow small business owner stranded, if you pass them on IG running their race, shout them out! Leave an emoji in the comments, cheer them on. This path is not for the faint of heart and when you've poured your heart and soul into your craft it is an amazing feeling to hear, this is beautiful! I know we're all busy and have a never ending list of things to do, but just take 5 minutes. Let people know you are there and they won't be able to ignore you! Get engaged!!!
