What is a competitive advantage? What is YOUR competitive advantage? Why should you care? What will it mean for your business if you don't have one?
A competitive advantage is something that makes you, your business and your products unique. It is what makes someone reach for your product in a sea of competition. If you know your competitive advantage, and it is strong - you will go far. If you do not have a competitive advantage or you think you might, but haven't really thought it out; its time to sit down with a pen and paper.
So, what makes your company different? what makes you different? What makes your products different? Why should I or would I want your product over your competitors? Does it have a unique feature? Do you have a reputation for incredible customer service? Does it have an unlimited guarantee if I was to not like it? Are you what is unique about your company? Your attitude, boldness, friendliness or some other factor?
Having a competitive advantage and knowing what it is will propel you forward to your major goals. When used properly, it allows your customers and your self to clearly see what makes your products different, and will bring the customers that you are seeking to you. Now - Its time to start getting focused and clear on your whole business. Find your competitive advantage and lets start competing.
